Posts: 216 09/21/2007 13:25	Tags : None Seattle is changing, and the world will probably change soon as well. Life at the Center is strained right now, life in Promise City is now life in Seattle. How is everyone handling it? I know for me it's hard to comprehend all the lives that have been lost. So many have died that a lot of time has been spent by various groups helping to pick up all the pieces of this city and of individual lives. I've been helping out at NTAC more due to the deaths of so many workers there. When I've not been working at NTAC I've been trying to counsel Shawn through the loss of his mother and brother. I'm also doing some counseling for my fellow workers at NTAC. It's so draining to try to help all these people with loss, although it's not much different from when I worked in Victims Counseling. When I have time to think I worry about what will become of this city now that Collier has so much control. What about everyone else? Somewhere far beyond all those distant stars...

Posts: 109 09/22/2007 09:37 Animal Whisperer	It's been quite an adjustment. I left Promise City but then weeks later it has transformed Seattle. There is no running away from Promise City anymore. Kai seems to be handling things well. I've seen a change in him. Almost as if whatever happened in the war is now behind him and he can focus on the events going on here. I'm happy for him. He still suffers from PTSD a little here and there but it's not as bad as it was when he got back. As for me, I've been doing what I can at NTAC. My partner was one of the unlucky ones. I've been grieving with everyone here because we all have lost co-workers. One of the upsides is that I no longer feel like an outcast now that those who have survived have abilities as well. Well almost everyone. It still amazes me that Agent Diana Skouris has an immunity to Promicin. I worry about her sometimes. Her daughter is a P+ as are everyone else she knows. What will she do? What's going to happen to her? I've been able to use my ability (by request from Megan Doyle) and get into people's minds, find out how they are dealing with their new life changing situations. Some of them are okay with having an ability, some not so much, and some on the fence. Typical responses basically. I'm nervous as to what will happen in this new world but at the same time the P+ in me is excited. Who knows what will happen down the road. For now I'm just gonna help out NTAC and find some way of doing my job; it will be hard to not round up P+'s anymore. Guess I'll just ride the waves and see where they take me. Posts: 53 09/25/2007 09:55	I guess I am the weird one here. I am having the time of my life! Don't get me wrong, I am devastated by what happened here in Seattle. So many people have died including three of my coworkers here at the Library. Their funerals were a couple of days ago. It's hard because one of them was my boss. She was one of the coolest people I have ever worked for. We would spend hours talking about Harry Potter and Doctor Who. Now...she's gone. The really sad thing was she was a big Promicin supporter. She said she wanted to take the shot to see if she could help the world. I miss her. I have been spending my lunch hour enjoying watching everyone on the street with their new abilities. It reminds me of when I first got my abilities. I have made quite a few friends around Seattle now. Most of them have abilities. They like having someone to talk to that understands what they are going through. If I can, I will try to get some of them on line here. No promise though. There is this one guy who has a teleporting ability that comes to the cafe I eat at. He's really cute. I haven't been brave enough to talk to him yet but who knows maybe one day.

I decided that when I will finish this comprehensive school (I'm on last year), and pass mature exam, I'm going to leave to Seattle, to The Promise City. So I think that I can take up medical studies in US, and also be helpful in Promise City! BTW, do you know how vicious are Polish News? They announced that Collier's "religion sect, which consider him as a messiah," take over control of one of the biggest US city - Seattle. And they said that Poland is proud of that there is no official cases of people who took the promicin. They said also that for national secure every person who want across the country border have to do a promicin test. Every promicin taker, will be deported or arrested :-/ And smuggling promicin into the country is punished by 15-25years in prison, every person who have a promicin syringe, will be arrested and judged like smuggler :-/ I'm lucky that there is no acts about promicin takers, who are polish citizens, yet... I'm back in California right now, although my grandmother and I were in Seattle when everything was happening. I don't know if I'd feel comfortable going back there for awhile because I'm not too sure of how I feel about the whole city changing into Promise City. Besides which, I had to go back to my college classes, and they're crazy, so I'm going to be busy for some time. I'm just glad that my ability is controlled and I can be around people without hearing every thought that goes through their heads!
